Full-Time Receptionist / Optometric Assistant

Maycock Eyecare is seeking a full-time Receptionist / Optometric Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. We are looking for a motivated, personable individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is eager to learn and grow within a energetic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk reception support, including appointment scheduling and managing incoming calls
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients in person and over the phone
- Assist with patient flow and provide one-on-one support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and support daily clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting, particularly in a front desk role
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Interest or experience in the optical/optometric field is considered an asset
While prior optometric or optical experience is an advantage, we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work Saturdays

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
