We are looking for someone with Heavy Equipment Operating Experience, specifically with excavators to join our team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings to maintain efficiency and product quality.

· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.

· Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate major issues to the maintenance team.

· Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

· Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Please note this work is performed in a mine therefore extra safety awareness/action is critical

· Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any issues encountered.

· Ensure machinery and equipment are used only as intended, and with care and respect

· Assist in a labour role as needed

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency.

· Assist in training new operators as needed.

· Wear a respirator when and where required by safety protocols and job demands, ensuring a proper seal and fit at all times.

· Ensure Flexibility; BAT Construction has multiple project sites across Canada that operate at any given time (day or night)



thus flexibility is required regarding work schedules, hours, rotations, shifts, and locations. Employees are expected to adapt to these changes as required by the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous HEO experience in a construction, manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

· Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.

Location: Agnico Eagle - Detour Lake Mine, Ontario

Camp work

Travel: Flights are provided by us

Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Shift: 12 hour days, overtime after 8

Union: CLAC - benefits including vacation and RSP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39.40-$44.33 per hour
