This individual will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and MRO.

Responsibilities:

- Purchase materials with specified cost, quality and delivery requirements
- Build/maintain relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quantities and delivery timeline
- Prepare cost-reduction saving plans
- Analyze market trends to assist with buying decisions
- Review the MRP report to ensure timelines
- Perform day-to-day purchasing activities
- Sourcing material and components
- Conducts market research on cost-competitive suppliers
- Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on market trends

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of MRO & raw material sourcing and purchasing is required
- Previous MRP experience is an asset
- Professional Certification is desired
- Excellent project management skills
- Solid technical knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
