We specialize in professional foundation excavation, repair, and structural work that protects homes and commercial properties across the region. We are currently seeking an experienced Mini-Excavator Equipment Operator to join our team as a Lead Hand. The Role This is a hands-on, full-time position focused on precise excavation work around residential and commercial foundations. You will primarily operate mini-excavators to carefully dig, expose, and prepare foundations for repairs, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. As Lead Hand, you will also take ownership of job-site organization, mentor less experienced crew members when needed, and step in with manual labour (shovel and wheelbarrow) to complete detailed excavation work in tight or sensitive areas that equipment cannot reach. The work is physical, outdoor, and weather-dependent, but it is steady year-round. You will be expected to arrive prepared, maintain equipment, and contribute to a clean, efficient, and safe job site every day. What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating mini-excavators in construction or foundation-related work Proven ability to work accurately and carefully around existing structures, utilities,



and finished surfaces Comfortable performing manual excavation with shovel and wheelbarrow when required Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with the ability to safely pull small equipment trailers Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional attitude Willingness to take on lead-hand responsibilities and help grow with the company We value people who take pride in clean, precise work and who are interested in building a long-term career rather than just filling a temporary role.
