Balcony Grill is looking for friendly, reliable, and experienced Restaurant Servers / Front of House Staff to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who communicates confidently with guests, works efficiently during busy service periods, and takes responsibility for providing accurate and attentive service.

Compensation

- Base wage: $15–$19 per hour, depending on experience
- Tips are paid in addition to the base wage
- Typical total earnings are approximately $20–$25+ per hour, including tips
- Additional performance bonuses may be offered during strong business periods
- Approximately 20–40 hours per week
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available

Actual earnings may vary depending on scheduled shifts, sales volume, performance, and hours worked.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Explain menu items and answer customer questions
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Process cash and card payments
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests promptly
- Recommend menu items and promote specials when appropriate
- Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and front-of-house areas
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned
- Follow restaurant hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety procedures

Requirements





- Previous restaurant serving or front-of-house experience is strongly preferred
- Strong spoken English is required. Mandarin is an asset but is not required.
- Available to work evenings and weekends, including Friday and Saturday nights
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant
- Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Able to stand for extended periods and carry food and beverage items
- Valid authorization to work in Canada
