Counter Staff Job Description
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety guidelines are followed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
-Assist in the bakery with other duties as required
Requirements:
- Outgoing and friendly,
- Must possess Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong math skills, including basic arithmetic and retail math
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work between 9:30am -8:30pm (open 7 days a week)
- Food Handling certificate required.
-We are looking for both day shift and afternoon availability, MUST be available to work weekends Both Saturday and Sunday.
-Must be mature and responsible and able to work with minimal supervision.
