Actively looking for Structural Engineer

Location: Beloeil or Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities

- Lead the structural design and technical execution of engineering projects.

- Support technicians and designers during the design and construction phases.

- Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, and other external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering.

- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and company quality requirements.

- Identify client needs and develop practical, cutting-edge engineering solutions.

- Participate in site visits and construction-phase support as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligible for registration.

- Approximately 5 years of structural engineering experience in consulting or a related environment.

- Experience designing steel structures.





- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (such as SAFI or similar).

- Knowledge of applicable Canadian structural codes and standards.

- French language proficiency appropriate for working with clients, project teams, and technical documentation.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

- ASP Construction certification is considered an asset.
