We are a growing transportation company based in Ayr, Ontario, operating a fleet of highway trucks and trailers across Canada and the U.S. We are looking for a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to keep our fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. Both licensed 310T technicians and experienced mechanics without a licence are encouraged to apply.

This position is supported by a pre-approved LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). Qualified candidates who require a work permit are welcome to apply.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks, tractors, and trailers (engine, transmission, drivetrain, differential)

- Perform preventive maintenance services (PM schedules) on the fleet

- Repair and maintain air brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems

- Diagnose faults using computerized diagnostic equipment and scan tools

- Assist with MTO annual safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet all safety and regulatory standards

- Repair hydraulic systems, fifth wheels, and coupling devices

- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications

- Complete accurate work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records

- Respond to occasional road calls / breakdowns as needed

- Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence, OR 3+ years of solid hands-on experience repairing heavy trucks and trailers





- Wage will reflect licence status and experience level ($33.00 - $38.00 per hour)

- Strong knowledge of air brakes, diesel engines, and electrical/ABS systems

- Experience with diagnostic software (Cummins INSITE, Detroit Diesel, etc.) an asset

- Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card and 310J an asset

- Valid driver's licence; DZ/AZ licence an asset

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding shop environment

- Available for some evening and weekend shifts as needed

- Language of work: English

EDUCATION:

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience

WHAT WE OFFER:

- Competitive hourly wage: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

- Overtime pay as per Ontario Employment Standards Act

- 4% vacation pay / paid vacation as per ESA
