Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Third/fourth year or a Journeyman Sheet Metal Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various residential, commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring advanced technical expertise and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Duties

- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Weld, pipe, and perform plumbing tasks as needed for system installation or repair
- Work with construction teams on system integration during new builds or renovations
- Conduct appliance repairs related to HVAC
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations
- Partricipate in an on-call roation

Requirements

- Valid Third/fourth year or Journeyman Sheet Metal certification or license
- Proven experience with HVAC systems, and mechanical repairs
- Strong knowledge of schematics,



technical drawings, and system troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and diagnostic equipment
- Construction experience is a plus, especially in installation or retrofit projects
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients as needed
- Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean license
