Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Water Truck Operator to join our construction team in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating water trucks efficiently to support various construction and earth-moving activities. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with heavy machinery and construction projects is highly valued to ensure smooth operations and project success.

Responsibilities

- Operate water trucks to supply water for dust control, compaction, and other construction needs.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of water trucks to ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators to meet daily operational requirements.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as needed on-site.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of water usage and equipment maintenance logs.
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator,



and farm machinery when required.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license Class 1 or 3 REQUIRED (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including grader, dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, or similar machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction experience preferred, with familiarity in earth-moving operations.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment or similar brands.
- Knowledge of farm machinery and general heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
