The Grocery Clerk (Overnight) is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner during overnight hours, typically after store closure between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. This role focuses on maintaining store readiness for the next business day while upholding company standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The Clerk will work independently and as part of a team to support store operations and contribute to an environment of employee engagement.

Here’s where you’ll have an impact:

- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety guidelines, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
- Order, receive, stock,



and merchandise products in accordance with company inventory control procedures during overnight hours
- Ensure shelves, displays, and back shop areas are fully stocked, organized, and ready for store opening
- Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping all work areas clean, safe, and presentable per Company requirements
- Process department shrink, as required
- Prepare customer orders for next-day fulfillment, as required
- Support store sales by ensuring accurate pricing, proper signage, and promotional displays are set prior to opening
- Participate in the training of junior staff, as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

- Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts in a quick-paced environment
- Above-average communication skills (oral and written)
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching
