We are searching for a EXPERIENCED floral designer who is able to do weddings, corsages and boutonniere, funeral and everyday floral design, to work in our fast paced, busy flower shop. Responsibilities will include processing incoming fresh flowers and designing all kind of bouquets and arrangements, assisting customers with any floral needs and/or concerns.

Florist Responsibilities:

- Creating all kind of floral arrangements (everyday, funeral, weddings, e.t.c).
- Receiving and processing shipments, of plants and flowers.
- Advising clients on possible flower combinations.
- Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions.
- Packaging clients' flowers to prevent breakages or weather damage.
- Coordinating flower deliveries.




- Cleaning and maintaining both the workspace and store front.
- Taking orders over the phone

Florist Requirements:

- 2 years of experience working as a florist in Canada a MUST BE - do not apply if you don't have Canadian floral xperience.
- Knowledge and skills about floral design MUST BE
- Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques.
- Approachable, positive, patient, and forthcoming.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 30lbs.
- Fluetly in English must be.
- Great phone Etiquette
- Great computer skills
- Ability to work some weekends

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
