We are a high-volume, fast-paced family flower shop looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to take over daily operations. This is a "heart and soul" role. You will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for excellence while managing a thriving e-commerce platform and a busy retail storefront. We are looking for a leader who can maintain our family values while driving professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily retail and e-commerce workflows, ensuring every order is perfect and out the door on time.
- Team Motivation: Lead, hire, and inspire a diverse team. Maintain a positive, high-energy shop culture even during peak stress.
- Holiday Command: Own the "Big Three" (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Christmas). This includes logistics planning, seasonal hiring, and working extended hours/days to ensure success.
- Growth Mindset:
Analyze sales data and web traffic to identify opportunities to scale the business and improve efficiency.
- Inventory & Vendor Management: Source high-quality blooms and hard goods while managing margins and waste.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in high-volume retail or hospitality management (Floral experience is a plus, but "Operational Brilliance" is the priority).
- Character: Extreme honesty and discretion. You will be the face of a family legacy.
- Stamina: Ability to thrive in a 12+ hour shift workplace during peak seasons.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable managing e-commerce backends and POS systems.
- Attitude: A "no task is too small" mentality and a perpetually positive outlook.
