Property Werks is looking for experienced fence installation subcontractors and established crews to complete residential wood-fence projects throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

We provide the customers, confirmed project scope, measurements, utility locates and materials. You provide the crew, vehicle, tools, equipment and skilled installation.

This is project-based subcontract work—not an hourly employee or general labourer position. Fence contractors typically complete 2–3 projects per week, depending on project size, weather and ground conditions.

You will see the scope and subcontract value before accepting each project. Earnings accumulate in our contractor app and can be withdrawn by direct deposit.

Successful applicants will have:

- Experience building residential wood fences and gates
- An established and reliable installation crew
- A suitable truck, trailer, tools and fence-building equipment
- Commercial general liability insurance
- An active WSIB account and clearance certificate, where required
- A smartphone capable of running our app and taking photos
- Strong workmanship, communication and attention to detail

Compensation:

This is a per-project subcontract. Compensation varies based on fence length, design, demolition, gates and site conditions.

Typical subcontract value: $1,500–$4,500 per project
Typical workload: Approximately 2–3 projects per week during the building season

Contractors are responsible for their own crew, vehicle, fuel, tools, equipment, insurance, WSIB obligations and taxes. Property Werks supplies project materials and arranges utility locates.
