Position Overview
We are looking for motivated, hardworking Construction Labourers/Helpers to join our team. This position involves assisting ironworkers with structural steel erection, performing general manual labour, and supporting safe and efficient job site operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and building a career in industrial construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist ironworkers with structural steel and miscellaneous steel installations
- Perform general manual labour on construction sites
- Act as a safety watch when required
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment
- Follow all company and site safety policies
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous manual labour experience is an asset
- Strong work ethic, motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
- Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in industrial or commercial construction
- Valid driver's licence required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Comfortable lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (day shifts)
- Occasional weekend overtime as required
Compensation
- Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
- Higher wages available based on experience and qualifications
