VALHALLA MEDICAL PHARMACY
Registered Pharmacy Technician
Etobicoke, Ontario | Full-Time Employee | Anticipated Start: October 15 – November 15, 2026
Own It. Build It. Lead It. A Rare Ownership Pathway in Community Pharmacy.
About the Prospect
Valhalla Medical Pharmacy is an integrated pharmacy and medical clinic at 50 Gibbs Road in Etobicoke, and we are looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician who wants to own and manage a pharmacy, not just work in one. This is a direct pathway to equity participation in VMP's growth. If you are technically strong, entrepreneurially minded, and ready to build something from the ground up, this role was designed for you.
This is not a routine dispensary position. At VMP, the Registered Pharmacy Technician operates across all three pillars of pharmacy operations, dispensing, patient engagement, and clinical services, while developing the operational and leadership skills to run the pharmacy independently. From day one, you are being developed to lead.
Roughly 25% of residents within our catchment area currently lack a family physician, nearly twice the provincial average. Our anchor community includes affordable housing residents managing complex chronic conditions who depend on us for consistent, compassionate pharmaceutical care. Working with pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and physicians, you will support expanded clinical programmes including addiction and substance use care, chronic pain management, travel medicine, and sexual health services.
VMP’s operating approach prioritises high prescription throughput, efficient dispensing workflows, and seamless integration with clinical services, enabling both operational efficiency and strong patient retention. As Registered Pharmacy Technician, you are central to delivering on all three.

Performance Bonus
A performance-based bonus is a reasonable possibility for the right candidate, tied to prescription volume, operational efficiency, blister pack and adherence targets, and contribution to patient retention and clinical programme delivery.
Growth and Leadership Pathway
As VMP scales, the right candidate earns equity participation in VMP. For the high-performing, long-tenure team member who helps build VMP from the ground up, equity participation is a genuine possibility. This is not a stepping stone, it is an ownership track. Community pharmacy rarely offers this. VMP does.
