We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This is a part time position. The position requires candidates to work 2-3 days per week. We have flexibility on which days the candidate works. The shifts are full shifts (9 hour shifts with 1 hour break). We will also consider candidates with equivalent qualifications. Please see the end of posting for equivalent qualifications. This position to start End of August/Beginning of September.

Our centres offer a distinct program immersed in nature and with a creative focus on art, music, movement and expression. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for outdoor learning, nature, the arts and working with children!

Reports to centre supervisor

Responsibilities:
* Provide quality care to children ages 12 months to 5 years
* Actively engage with children and ensure supervision & safety at all times
* Plans and implements programming based on centre philosophy
* Complete documentation of learning experiences/observations of the children




* Complete child care centre app updates (Lillio)
* Able to lift frequently (up to 50lbs)
* Willing and able to work outside for at least 2 hours per day year round
* Work as a team and provide constructive feedback as needed to classroom team members

Requirements:
* Company to provide reimbursement for required trainings and certifications (first aid, police check, College of ECE Registration fee)
* Registered with College of ECE's
* Completion of ECE Diploma
* Over 18 years of age
* Up to date Standard first aid & CPR "C"
* Successful Completion of Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
* Up to date immunizations
*Food Handler's not required but an asset - willing to obtain

Equivalent Qualifications:
* Social Service Worker Diploma
* Primary/Junior Teaching Degree

Pay: From $27.50 per hour
