Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our in home team.

Description of client and work settings:

3 year old with Tracheostomy and G tube feeding in need of overnight care in home

Caregiver responsibilities:

- Must be awake for entire shift

- Provide physical and emotional support throughout the night

- Ensure safety of individual through medical intervention such as tracheal suctioning, maintaining medical equipment, and detangling medical lines

- Cleaning duties for medical equipment, sanitizing high touch surfaces, and client laundry

- Stocking and preparing medical equipment for day use

- Hygiene support, diapering as needed

- Other related duties as assigned

Work schedule:

Casual staff as needed 9pm to 7am

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.



Previous experience as a health care aid, support staff or with medically complicated individuals not required, but preferred. Previous experience working with infants or children preferred.

Personal qualities:

- Reliable and punctual

- Able to understand verbal and written English instructions

- Versatile and willing to accept direction

- Time management skills

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lethbridge, AB T1K 3B7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
