Position Summary:
The instructor will report to the Indigenous Early Childhood Education Program Manager regarding student progress and course delivery. The instructor is required to provide student support, and to assist with practicum, curriculum development, and planning, including online Moodle development and other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Any combination of education and work experience as follows will be considered:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred)

At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field

Experience teaching in an online learning setting, with demonstrated knowledge of effective learner engagement strategies,



preferably within the post-secondary education sector.

Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills

Knowledge of Indigenous values, communities and instructional methodology, and experience working with Indigenous organizations and Indigenous adults.

Experience with Moodle is a must.

Terms:

Appointment may require a criminal record check; results may affect final offer of employment.

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for programming or events.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm-15 hours per week, possibility of evening and weekend shifts

Salary: $39.56/hr. (As per Collective Agreement)
