We are looking for an experienced Catering Service Manager for Apex Kosher Catering located at 100 Elder St, North York, ON M3H 5G7, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

● Plan, organize, and oversee all catering service operations for weddings, corporate events, cultural functions, and large-scale receptions.

● Establish and implement service procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with kosher standards and client expectations.

● Recruit, schedule, supervise, and evaluate catering staff, service leads, and in office teams to ensure efficient event execution.

● Direct event-day service operations, including setup, service flow, and breakdown, ensuring timelines and service standards are met.

● Manage inventory and service supplies, including forecasting needs, coordinating procurement, and ensuring availability for scheduled events.

● Monitor service revenues, labour usage, and operational costs, adjusting staffing and procedures to maintain efficiency and profitability.

● Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and kosher food-handling requirements across all catering activities.





● Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, resolving service issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships.

● Coordinate closely with culinary teams, logistics staff, and external vendors to align service delivery with menu execution and event plans.

● Conduct post-event reviews to assess service performance, address issues, and implement improvements for future events.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate or equivalent

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience in Food Industry

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36 to $38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
