Same day Dental is looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during general, restorative, surgical, and emergency procedures
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans
- Perform Level II duties, including coronal polishing and the application of topical agents
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain efficient patient flow
- Sterilize instruments and follow current IPAC standards
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Educate patients regarding treatment and post-operative care
- Assist with inventory management and operatory supplies
- Support the clinical and administrative teams as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- HARP certification
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of Ontario IPAC requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Experience with dental practice-management software is an asset
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred; strong new graduates are welcome to apply

Schedule
