Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Admin Assistant to support our warehouse operations. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment operation such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an excellent chance to be part of a dynamic logistics team, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including loading and unloading shipments
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software
- Support order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packaging
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to ensure timely order processing
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all warehouse activities
- Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and maintaining organized storage areas
- Perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts, weights, and measurements
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management or distribution environments
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Experience with shipping & receiving, order picking, and order fulfillment processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
- Knowledge of e-commerce logistics processes is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
