Sublime Salon & Spa is seeking a talented, passionate, and client-focused Hair Stylist to join our growing team in Halifax. We are looking for an experienced professional who is committed to delivering exceptional service, staying current with industry trends, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented salon environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing techniques
- Consult with clients to recommend styles and services that suit their needs and lifestyle
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and payment processing
- Mentor and support junior stylists by sharing knowledge, techniques, and industry best practices
- Recommend and upsell salon products and retail items to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation in accordance with salon standards
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and help foster client loyalty

Qualifications

- Valid Cosmetology License




- Proven experience in cutting, colouring, and styling a variety of hair types and textures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships
- Understanding of retail sales and product recommendations
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience is an asset, but not required
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior stylists is considered a strong asset
