We are currently recruiting a Billing Analyst. The ideal candidate is detail- oriented, motivated and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports directly to the financial controller and is responsible for the day-to-day billing while assisting with other administrative work.

This is in-office, permanent, full-time role that is in Mississauga, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

- Collating, preparing, and issuing information related to customer accounts including invoices, bills, account reports and any other relevant statements using Transplus Fleet Manager and QBO.
- Audit orders for accuracy prior to invoice creation and update information in system.
- Create SOP on the processes.
- Proof of Delivery, POD following customer request.
- Interpretation and verification of driver time sheets.
- Review and verification of BOLs.
- Coordination of any special customer billing requests.
- Work closely with other departments (collections, operations, sales) to investigate and resolve customer inquiries.




- Daily review/reporting of unbilled/unrated orders.
- Reconciling sales order records with drivers pay to ensure clients are billed correctly.
- Operating database software and electronic billing systems to review financial data, correct discrepancies and reconcile accounts appropriately.
- Preparing and sending invoices to customers while applying special rates or discounts to specific bills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Ideal candidate would have 2 years experience in similar role
- Working experience with Transplus is an asset
- Experience with MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Working experience with Quick Books Online is an asset.
- Customer Billing Experience would be an asset.
- Transportation, trucking, logistics industry experience is an asset.
