We are seeking a skilled and experienced Harvesting Supervisor to join our team.
Requirements:
1. 3-5 years of supervisor experience (agriculture or mushroom industry)
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. Own transportation
4. Ability to work on weekends and flexible shifts
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
6. Attention to detail and good time management
7. Organizational and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work in various work environments
9. Ability to supervise up to 30 employees, and handle various situations
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
11. Basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
1. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of harvesters and service team
2. Oversee harvesting rooms, harvesting procedures, and other crop-related operations
3. Develop and maintain work schedules and establish procedures, may be required to attend regular meetings
4. Optimize yield,
analyze crop data to implement successful harvesting strategies
5. Maintain production forecast and production records
6. Maintain quality of harvesting and orders
7. Ensure production meets the highest quality standards
8. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times by employees
9. Assist workers in their duties as needed
10. Maintain daily communication with other necessary departments, providing them with daily/weekly harvesting rooms updates
11. Other duties assigned by the Manager
12. Maintain harvesting performance
