Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Provide product information, demonstrate features, and answer customer inquiries
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and inventory management
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Support store management in supervising staff, training new employees, and coordinating team efforts
- Participate in marketing initiatives to promote products and store events




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

Experience

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, merchandising, and POS operations
- Supervising or team management experience is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with retail management tasks such as budgeting, payroll, training & development, and bookkeeping is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills are essential
- Prior experience with marketing strategies, interviewing potential staff, or administrative responsibilities will be considered an asset
