Your challenge

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications ;
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds and fabricated parts ;
- Verify equipment conformity to customer drawings and specifications ;
- Verify the type of materials used for fabrication against code requirements and customer specifications ;
- Verify and approve material test certificates provided by suppliers ;
- Document non-conformities and follow up corrective actions ;
- Write control documents and inspection reports ;
- All other related tasks.





Qualifications required

- DEC in mechanical engineering or other training deemed equivalent ;
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW) ;
- Mastery of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and inspection tools ;
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in quality control ;
- Experience in a custom manufacturing plant ;
- Knowledge of Canadian and international standards (CSA, ASME, API, ISO) ;
- Problem-solving and critical analysis skills ;
- Bilingualism - English and French (required to communicate with customer inspectors) ;
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
