Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Perform gas fitting tasks such as connecting, testing, and troubleshooting natural gas and propane systems safely and accurately
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and repair work
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, rigging equipment, welding techniques (MIG, TIG), and other mechanical tools to complete projects efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems to ensure optimal operation
- Perform welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding to join metal components securely




- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with pressurized gases, welding equipment, or in confined spaces; document all work performed accurately

Experience

- Proven experience in plumbing and gas fitting within construction or manufacturing environments
- Skilled in reading schematics and blueprints with a solid mechanical knowledge base
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, welding safety practices, and rigging techniques
- Familiarity with HVAC systems installation or maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively including calipers for precise measurements
- Prior experience working with schematics for plumbing or mechanical systems is highly desirable

Pay: $24.70-$50.10 per hour
