Compensation: $22.00/hr + 4% in lieu of vacation

Hours: 8am-4pm and 12pm-8pm shifts available. Weekend availability is required.

Vancouver Bike Share Inc. (Mobi by Rogers) is a public bike-sharing service based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are dedicated to delivering a high-quality shared micromobility experience and supporting an essential transportation option for the city. With 2,000 classic bikes and 600 e-bikes across 250+ stations, our system is a core part of Vancouver’s transportation network. Our team shares a passion for cycling and the positive impact it has on communities—especially when it’s shared.

Bike Share Fleet Balancers are the reason there is always a bike or ebike to ride and a place for a rider to dock the bike. Fleet Balancers work in all weather conditions to transport bikes, maintain stations, and monitor supporting technology.

Responsibilities:

- Driving an electric-assist cargo trike with trailer throughout the Mobi service area (Downtown & East Vancouver)
- Balancing stations: loading and unloading bicycles from the e-trike & trailer and stations
- Identifying and collecting bicycles in need of repair or maintenance
- Station equipment assembly, installation, removal, and cleaning
- Interacting positively and helpfully towards customers and members of the public
- Keeping accurate records of operations and tasks performed
- Following company protocols and procedures
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Competencies:

- An ability to load, lift,



and roll bicycles and equipment (~50 pounds)
- Experienced urban cyclist (or e-cyclist) who enjoys physical outdoor work
- Excellent driving skills and a valid Class 5 BC or Class 7 (“N”) Drivers License
- Clean drivers abstract (to be provided)
- Good communication skills in-person and through online communication tools
- Confidence and aptitude using online tools and apps
- A willingness to perform a variety of outdoor work tasks (from moving bikes to cleaning stations) in all weather conditions
- An organized, cooperative, and detail-oriented mindset

This is a fixed term position with the potential for transition to a permanent position based on business needs. The position has flexible start and end dates, spanning from July to September.
