We are hiring an Inclusion Support Worker to work with our *amazing* 23 yr old son with Autism & Intellectual Disability.

LOCATION
Clayton Park area, HRM, near the intersection of Dunbrack & Willett

WAGE
$20/hr plus expenses & mileage

HOURS OF WORK
Starting September 8, 2026, we are looking for someone to work a minimum of two shifts/week, which could consist of:

- Weekdays 8:30am-1pm and/or 1-6pm
- Weekends ~10am-3pm

There is also the option to pick up occasional shifts throughout the week, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

- Commited to person-centred planning
- Ability and willingness to facilitate relationships and opportunities
- Driver's licence. Having your own car or access to a reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Recent Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sectors Check

JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team of support workers, as well as a member of our son’s person-centered planning community. Your role is to support him to engage and participate in a wide range of community activities, including recreation, physical fitness, volunteer and employment. This will involve learning about and understanding what his goals are,



and facilitating his activities and connections in community. It may involve seeking out and initiating opportunities for him in community. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, imaginative, resourceful, motivating, and collaborative.
