In this position, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring secure handling of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight

Experience





- Proven experience of 5 years in commercial driving, preferably with Class 1 license certification
- Muffet license & Crane Ticket required
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in transportation environments
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics to perform routine maintenance or troubleshoot minor issues
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a rapid-paced setting

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
