Overview
GTA Adjusters Inc. is a well-established, 30-year-old firm providing professional claims adjusting services to insurers across Canada. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking experienced insurance professionals for contract placements in Ontario Accident Benefits (AB).

Successful candidates will manage SABS claims from first notice of loss to closure at moderate to intermediate levels. These roles involve working remotely on client systems to support examiner caseloads for fixed or ongoing durations. High-performing individuals may be offered additional assignments and the opportunity to transition into full-time roles with GTA Adjusters.

Responsibilities

- Prioritize and manage conflicting tasks effectively.
- Meet deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Maintain a proactive and positive approach to customer service.
- Respond promptly to client and customer inquiries.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
- Build and maintain professional relationships.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and responsiveness in all interactions.

Experience

- Minimum of 3 years' experience for mid-level roles and 5 years for intermediate.
- Claims adjusting experience at an insurance company or as an independent adjuster for insurers.
- Equivalency in a combination of education and experience will be considered.




- Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation (including C13, C14, C48).
- Strong analytical skills, including identifying cause-and-effect dynamics.
- Good investigative skills.
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical analysis.
- Advanced communication skills: Effective technical writing and Strong oral communication, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing conflict and building relationships.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract
