Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail or technology settings to identify their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features clearly to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Manage cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and basic math calculations accurately during sales processes
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly,
and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Utilize strong communication skills and phone etiquette to follow up with clients and support ongoing sales efforts
- Manage time effectively to prioritize customer interactions and meet daily sales goals
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or a related customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Technical sales experience involving product demos or explaining complex features is a plus
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and effective communication are essential for success in this role
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory management
