ABOUT SKYLUXE ROOFING

Skyluxe Roofing is a trusted roofing contractor serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in residential and commercial roofing, delivering exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and reliability on every project. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Manager to lead our projects from contract signing to final completion.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Project Manager is the operational backbone of Skyluxe Roofing's project delivery. You will own each project end-to-end — from reviewing contracts and subcontract agreements to coordinating crews, tracking milestones, managing materials, and ensuring every detail is documented and on schedule. This is a role for someone who thrives on accountability, loves structure, and holds others to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contract & Subcontract Management

- Review, understand, and manage all project contracts, subcontracts, and scope-of-work agreements before work begins

- Ensure all subcontractors are properly contracted, insured, and briefed on project scope and expectations

- Identify and track contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables for all parties

- Issue and manage change orders accurately and in a timely manner

- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all signed contracts, amendments, and correspondence

Project Oversight & Scheduling

- Manage multiple concurrent roofing projects across the GTA from pre-construction through to final sign-off

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are communicated

- Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate project handoffs with field crews and foremen

- Proactively identify risks, delays,



or scope issues and implement solutions before they escalate

Budget & Materials

- Monitor job-level costs against approved budgets and flag variances early

- Review and approve weekly labor and material costs per project

- Work closely with estimators to review scopes, budgets, and job start/finish timelines

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact when it comes to scope of work and contracts for clients, general contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle

- Provide clients with clear schedules

- Coordinate internally with operations, accounting, and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution

- Prepare and distribute job books, progress reports, and documentation required for each project

Quality & Safety

- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with manufacturer specs, building codes, and Skyluxe quality standards

- Enforce OHSA and site safety compliance on all job sites

- Monitor and document safety records for each project

- Ensure proper close-out documentation including warranties, certificates, and final inspections

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

- 3–7 years of project management experience in roofing, construction, or a related trade

- Demonstrated experience reviewing and managing contracts and subcontract agreements

- Exceptional attention to detail — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch





- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools

- Valid Ontario G driver's license and reliable transportation to visit job sites across the GTA

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Assets

- Direct experience with residential or commercial roofing systems (shingle, flat, metal, TPO, modified bitumen, etc.)

- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code, OHSA requirements, and Toronto permit processes

- Experience working with subcontractors and managing trade crews

- PMP designation or equivalent project management certification is an asset

- Working At Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
