Warehouse Associate / Counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck Operator for a distribution plant located in Abbotsford, BC

You must posses a solid working knowledge of a fast-paced warehouse environment and have at least 1-year forklift experience.

Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling all warehousing and distribution functions within the facility, this will include accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing inventory, processing and filling customer orders in a timely manner as well as maintaining inventory standards. Candidates possess a solid working knowledge of a fast-paced warehouse environment, experience operating forklifts,



reach trucks and be comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting (+/-) 20-75 lbs.

- Accurate selection and assembling of products to fill internal and external customer orders
- Manage handling, distribution, and storage of stock
- Assisting customers while maintaining a courteous and customer orientated attitude
- Operating machinery (forklift, reach-truck, pallet jacks)
- General housekeeping duties for a warehouse
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety and safe lifting methods
- Must be physically fit and able to lift upwards of 75 lbs
- Good English and mathematical skills
- Participation in ongoing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Highly motivated and committed with a desire to succeed

Compensation

- $22-30/hour based on experience

Working conditions

- Full time, Monday-Friday from 8am to 4.30pm
- Lifting or moving (+/-) 20-75 lbs of ceramic tile
- Overtime as required
