We are seeking a vibrant and detail-oriented Nail Technician to join our dynamic team! ( At 3421 Portage Ave, Winnipeg) In this role, you will provide expert nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, while delivering exceptional customer service that keeps clients coming back. Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell additional services or retail products
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
- Manage retail sales by recommending suitable products to enhance clients’ beauty routines
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the salon environment and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a salon or spa setting
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, current trends, and popular products
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Ability to uphold strict sanitation standards consistently
- Experience in body waxing is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services and retail items effectively
- Prior retail sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory
