Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Residential HVAC Sales Consultant to join our team. This role involves meeting with homeowners, assessing their comfort needs, and recommending the best HVAC solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, confident closer, and thrives in a commission-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to assess heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs
- Perform in-home estimates for furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and accessories
- Design and present customized HVAC solutions
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals and quotes
- Close sales and achieve monthly revenue targets
- Follow up on leads and maintain strong customer relationships
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system
- Stay up to date on HVAC products, pricing, and industry trends
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience (HVAC or in-home sales preferred)
- Strong closing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems (training provided if needed)
- Comfortable working on commission and performance-based income
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential HVAC sales
- Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Experience using CRM or sales tracking software
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
