We are looking for an individual with overhead door knowledge who is looking for extra hours and is available to be on call. ( Part time hours 10-20 a week)

Summary

Join My Storage as a Garage Door Technician in Belleville. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related systems to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Your work will contribute directly to our mission of providing reliable storage solutions with excellent service.
Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers according to manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with garage systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures.




- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the training of new technicians as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with garage door systems or similar mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and basic electrical components.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in construction or maintenance is a plus.
