Schedule:

- Site-based position
- 9/80 schedule:
- - Week 1: Monday to Friday, 9-hour days (45 hours)
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday, 9-hour days, Thursday 8-hour day (35 hours)
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple sustaining and capital projects from initiation through completion.
- Utilize project management tools, techniques, and processes to successfully deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, budgets, execution plans, and reporting.
- Oversee engineering and design activities, ensuring compliance with site standards, specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, contractors, and vendors throughout project execution.
- Support procurement activities including bidding, evaluation, and delivery of goods, materials, and services.
- Provide technical support to Mill Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Monitor contractor and service provider activities to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are maintained.




- Supervise construction activities and coordinate field execution.
- Lead and support quality assurance, quality control, commissioning, and project turnover activities.
- Prepare written reports, presentations, project updates, and status summaries for stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering, technical, and operational personnel as required.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, or a related role within a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technologist certification.
- Strong mechanical background preferred.
- Previous potash industry experience considered a solid asset.
- Experience managing projects from concept through execution and completion.
- Understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
- Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with scheduling tools and project management software.
- PMP designation considered an asset.




- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and positive safety behaviors.
- Ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors in a site environment.
P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with APEGS considered an asset.
