Dependable Logistics; Div. of Dependable Truck & Tank Ltd is hiring a full-time Pilot Driver to assist and support the safe and efficient movement of over-sized loads across Canada and at times, cross-border into the U.S. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, safety-oriented, and interested in the heavy haul trucking industry. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a company-issued Pilot Vehicle with required safety equipment (lights, flags, signage)
- Escort heavy haul trucks in lead and/or chase positions
- Maintain constant communication with drivers using 2-way radio
- Identify and communicate hazards such as low clearances, construction zones, narrow roads, and traffic issues
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securement of freight as required
- Work closely with truck drivers and other team members in a team-oriented environment

Mandatory Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet All):





- Valid Class 5 license or higher with a recent, clean drivers abstract
- Eligible to cross the Canada/U.S. border (no restrictions)
- Willing to be away from home for extended periods
- Strong situational awareness and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible, irregular hours (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
- Physically capable of assisting with securement and job site tasks

Assets (Not Required):

- Previous pilot car / escort experience
- Trucking or heavy haul industry experience
- Knowledge of oversized load regulations
