Our client, a rapidly growing Canadian private manufacturer located in the Weston area is recruiting for a Finance Operations Analyst to add to their team. This job is primarily an accounting position and will involve 10% analysis. This is not a data analytics job. The ideal candidate will have minimum two years accounting general accounting ( a/p, a/r, general ledger experience), a business diploma or degree preferably with an accounting major and enrollment in the CPA and is looking for a move up. The candidate must have strong excel skills. This position offers substantial growth opportunities. This is cross functional role supporting the finance team across all areas. Only those suitable will receive a reply. This is completely in the office and the candidate must live within reasonable commuting distance. Standard benefit package.

Responsibilities:





- perform daily credit card payment reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
- support cash application, customer payment posting and a/r activities
- provide back up to accounts payable function
- assist with month end close, journal entries, account reconciliation, accruals and financial reporting
- participate in ERP implementation and system improvements
- prepare management reports using excel
- identify opportunities to improve efficiencies
- and other duties as assigned.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
