We are currently hiring reliable, hard-working individuals to join our HDD crew.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work safely and effectively in fast-paced, high-noise environments while maintaining constant awareness of hazards.
- Identify and assess potential risks by conducting field level hazard assessments and equipment inspections in accordance with company safety policies
- Perform horizontal directional drilling (HDD and locating activities using equipment such as 10X15, 23X30, 36X50, and 80X100 drills, along with DigiTrak F5 and Falcon locating systems
- Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor environment for 10 hours a day, while working around and exposing utilities following ABCGA best practices.
- Maintain a strong and consistent production pace while aligning with secure work practices
- Complete daily preventative maintenance on equipment and perform minor repairs as required




- Interpret utility locates, ensure permits are in place, and coordinate work accordingly
- Set up and maintain work sites, including pedestrian control measures and traffic management plans

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 1 years’ experience in HDD Drilling and/or locating
- Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a minimum of three years of insurable driving history
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Valid ABCGA Endorsed Ground Disturbance Level II ticket (in-class training)
- Preference will be given to candidates with valid safety tickets (CSTS-2020, PCST, WHMIS, First Aid, Confined Space)
- Ability to work safely and follow all site procedures
- Out-of-town work may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
