About the Role

CETTEC Printing is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Digital Label Press & Finishing Operator to join our small production team.

You will produce short- and medium-run pressure-sensitive labels using our Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 digital label press and offline finishing equipment. The work includes printing, laminating, die-cutting, slitting, rewinding, inspecting, and packing finished label rolls.

This is a hands-on production position, not a warehouse labelling role.

The position may suit someone with experience as a digital press operator, print finisher, bindery operator, wide-format operator, packaging operator, or production machine operator.

Direct label-press experience is an asset, but we are willing to train a strong candidate with relevant printing, finishing, or machine-operation experience.

What You Will Do

- Review job tickets, approved artwork, samples, and production instructions before beginning each order.
- Confirm the label size, quantity, material, laminate, die, roll direction, core size, and finishing requirements.
- Set up and operate the Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 digital label press.
- Load materials and make adjustments for colour, registration, image position, and consistent output.
- Inspect labels during production and identify print, registration, cutting, or material defects.
- Set up and operate offline finishing equipment for laminating, die-cutting, slitting, stripping, and rewinding.
- Verify finished-roll direction, orientation, quantity, core size, and packaging requirements.
- Accurately identify, package, and label completed rolls.
- Complete job-ticket records and basic production documentation.




- Minimize material waste and address production concerns before they affect the full order.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance.
- Keep the label-production area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with other digital printing, finishing, and packing work when label-production requirements allow.

What We Are Looking For

- Previous experience in printing, finishing, packaging, manufacturing, machine operation, or a similar production workplace.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence making equipment adjustments.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately follow written instructions, approved samples, and production specifications.
- Comfortable using computers and learning production software and equipment interfaces.
- Dependable attendance and consistent weekday availability.
- Ability to work independently after training while asking questions when instructions are unclear.
- Good organizational and communication skills.

Experience Considered an Asset

- Digital label press operation.
- Roll-to-roll printing or finishing.
- Laminating, die-cutting, slitting, or rewinding.
- Konica Minolta, HP Indigo, Epson, or similar digital printing equipment.
- Fiery, Adobe Acrobat, or other print-production software.
- Bindery, wide-format, flexographic, packaging, or commercial-printing experience.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive production and inspection tasks.
- Ability to safely handle rolls of label material and production supplies.




- Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds when required.
- Good visual acuity and colour perception.

Schedule and Compensation

- Approximately 20–25 hours per week.
- Consistent weekday daytime schedule.
- The regular working schedule will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
- Additional hours may occasionally be available depending on production requirements.
- Compensation of $24–$28 per hour, based on relevant experience and ability to operate independently.
