One of our chemical processing clients is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team near Newmarket, ON

Shift - Day

Pay - Up to 120K

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the Maintenance Department, ensuring safe and efficient day-to-day operations.

- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.

- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production to support operational goals and minimize disruptions.

- Supervise maintenance contractors and ensure work is completed safely, on time,



and within budget.

- Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support root cause analysis to prevent recurring equipment failures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

- 5 10 years of maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial maintenance workplace.
