The Role

Kenworth Lloydminster is looking for an Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck Technician for our Lloydminster location who is responsible for performing minor maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adheering to the work assigned to them by the on floor supervisor.

Responsibilities

Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems

Install current or replacement parts according to specifications

Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations

Assure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements and/or modifications to the truck or other assigned vehicle

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of

- A High school diploma
- A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Certification with Heavy Truck experience
- Minimum 1 year training in a Heavy Duty Truck fleet or shop environment

Shift

This is a permanent Full Time position.
