Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with a DZ license to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures upon delivery
- Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws,
and company policies during driving and loading activities
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting vehicle issues to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks
- Physical ability to lift, load, unload, and secure freight as required
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
