We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook specializing in Indian cuisine to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, breads, rice, and vegetarian options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is handled safely, stored properly, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining a positive dining atmosphere




- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or ordering new stock
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a secure working environment

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to prepare diverse Indian dishes with authentic flavors and presentation skills
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and meal preparation techniques specific to Indian cooking
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
