Construction Sales Estimator & Business Development Representative

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Residential Construction Sales Estimator with a strong track record in business development to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that combines technical estimating expertise with relationship driven sales ideal for someone who can read a blueprints and is specific in estimating.

What You'll Do

- Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and bids for residential/commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Review blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to scope project requirements
- Identify and pursue recent business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and industry events
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, property developers, and repeat clients
- Present proposals and negotiate contract terms with prospective clients
- Track and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through contract signing
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with actual project execution




- Monitor market trends, material costs, and competitor pricing to keep bids competitive
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts/reports to leadership

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, sales, or business development (combined experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to generate and close new business
- Valid clean driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings
