Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within the food industry.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches and salads according to Subway standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders using the POS system, including Micros POS if available.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times.




- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation of the store.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as assigned, including sanitation checks and inventory management.

Skills

- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling tools.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
