Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food service for our customers. This role requires a passion for food, strong attention to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Cook will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to customers or servers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness




- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to serve dishes efficiently while maintaining quality presentation
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and kitchen organization
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and culinary techniques
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
